MVCA hosted a Lunch Conference with guest speaker Dr. Gideon Tolkowsky from BME Capital Management Ltd, Israel on Thursday 28 May.

Dr. Tolkowsky has over 25 years of venture capital experience in the United States and Israel, being one of the founders of Israeli venture capital.  The main fund he co-founded and co-managed, whose capital originated primarily from Anglo American Corporation and De Beers, achieved an IRR of 84% throughout its life.

Dr. Gideon presented the Nuclear Power Technology Fund, which is currently under organization, focusing on the so called "nuclear power renaissance" and the opportunities from a PE/VC perspective.  He then extended on the key issues and opportunities that the technology-oriented PE/VC industry will face as it emerges from the global economic crisis.
