Mr. Lavotha has over 30 years of experience in the global biotech & pharmaceutical industry from both large corporate environments and start up companies. His responsibilities have included all business related disciplines. He spent most of his career at Pfizer & Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, where he held increasingly senior roles and responsibilities. Most recently he was Chief Executive of Europe/Africa/Middle East with P&L responsibility for a multi-billion dollar revenue generating business. During latter years he was responsible for building two start-up companies within the “specialty-pharma” sector, and took one of those companies public (OMX-NASDAQ).

Mr. Lavotha serves as a mentor at IUM (Int. University of Monaco), and has spearheaded entrepreneur forums in the Principality (www.edgemonaco.org). He is actively involved in attracting business to the Principality, organizes top level financial VIP visits, sat on the Government Advisory Board for attractiveness (CSA), have appeared multiple times on CNBC promoting the private sector financial industry in Monaco, etc.

Mr. Lavotha, has been decorated by HSH Prince Albert II, with the “Chevalier L’Ordre de Saint Charles”.

Mr. Lavotha is a Hungarian citizen. A former resident of Hungary, Finland, Sweden and the US, he has lived in Monaco since 2003. He speaks fluently Hungarian, Swedish, English and French.
