John WRIGHT , President

Early career, in the UK, with ICL (programming, technical support, sales, major account management) and Rank Xerox Data Systems (UK Sales Manager). Started European operations of Systems Engineering Laboratories Inc., a Florida-based supplier of real-time computers, becoming Vice President, International. Vice President, Marketing and Sales of ECAD Inc.. Restructured sales and marketing for a successful IPO on NASDAQ, played key role in subsequent merger with SDA that created Cadence Design Inc., which became the largest and most successful company in software for electronic CAD.

Relocated to Monaco in 1995, became Director of JETCAM International Holdings Ltd, a machine tool software company, responsible for its IPO on the London Stock Exchange (AIM), making a UK acquisition and later taking the company private again and divesting the acquisition.

Co-founder and a non-executive director of innovative companies in manufacturing management software, ground-breaking technologies in the disposable glove sector, and electronic health record systems.

Founder of Capital Real Estate in Monaco, now affiliated with Jones Lang LaSalle, with occasional interests in Monaco real estate and property development on the Cote d’Azur and a property portfolio in London.

Olivier DAUMAN, Vice President


Olivier is in charge of Private Equity investments at CFM Monaco. He advises private clients and family offices on their Private Market allocations, including Private Equity, Private Debt and Private Equity Real Estate.

Before joining CFM Monaco in 2011, he spent 5 years at Paris based placement agent Global Private Equity. He raised capital for a number of Infrastructure and Private Equity funds and was in charge of Canadian and some European investors.

He holds a BA (Honors) from Sheffield Hallam University and an MSc. in Finance from Bordeaux Business School.

Pravin KHATAU, Secretary of the Board

Pravin Khatau is the Founder and CEO of Londinium Asset Management Ltd. an SEC registered Family Office and Investment Advisor which invests in private and listed equity opportunities globally.

Previously, Pravin's career was in Investment Banking. He spent 9 years at Goldman Sachs and Co. as an Executive Director based in Zurich and London where he built up Goldman's convertible bond distribution into Switzerland, Germany and Italy and pioneered the firm's entry into India. He then moved to Baring Securities where he performed a dual function as Global Head of Convertible Bond Sales as well as Relationship Banking India.

Pravin is presently a non executive director of 2iCapital, an India focused Private Equity Firm and Transwarrantly Finance, an Investment Bank based in Mumbai.

He holds an MBA in Finance form the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Business/Economics from UCLA.

Alexander ZELEZ , Executive Board Member

Alex is a Senior Analyst in the Monaco offices of STS Capital Partners, an international

mid-market M&A firm focused on helping families and entrepreneurs to maximize value by

selling to strategics. In this role, he is responsible for developing investor and client do

cumentation as well as related analytical work, identifying and qualifying prospective investors, and supporting STS global project teams.

Alex participated in large and international sell-side M&A mandates in the infrastructure,energy, real estate and consumer sectors as well as large-scale buy-side investmentresearch projects for private and institutional investors for 7+ years.

For the past 5+ years, Alex has served as Head of Operations for the Monaco PrivateEquity & Venture Capital Association (MVCA), a private non-profit organization serving and connecting the Private Equity community in the Principality.

Alex holds a BA in Marketing & Management from the University of Chicago (National Louis) and a Masters of Science degree from the International University of Monaco. He is native in German and Polish, fluent in English and conversational in French.

Nathalie TANZI, Executive Board Member

Nathalie is experienced in international finance and law.

Nathalie worked for 20 years for regulatory financial authorities, firstly in France (Autorité des Marchés Financiers) and then in the Principality of Monaco with the Finance Department, and then the Financial Activities Supervisory Commission (Commission de contrôle des activités financières).

Nathalie has acquired expertise in international issues arising from the regulation of financial markets and activities as well as Monegasque issues relating to financial activities, company registration and banking.  She has worked on the legislation and regulation of funds and of the financial services industry in Monaco.

Nathalie has carried out international investigations in the field of securities (market abuse, illegal solicitation of the public, portfolio management…) in connection with European regulators.

At Tempest Legal Services Monaco SARL, Nathalie works on corporate issues, hedge fund business, banking issues.

Gunter WALDNER, Executive Board Member

Gunter joined Tyrus Capital in August 2012 to launch the firm’s special PE/Secondaries opportunities strategy. Prior to Tyrus Capital, Gunter spent five years in senior positions in AlpInvest Partner’s European Secondaries team, one of the largest PE and secondary PE investors globally with over EUR 40 billion in assets under management, where he has led or co-led secondary transactions with a volume of over EUR 430 million.

Gunter was responsible for sourcing, structuring and the execution of transactions, portfolio management, as well as developing and raising AlpInvest’s first co-mingled secondaries fund.

His previous experience includes 10 years in investment banking at Lehman Brothers, with a long track record of advising clients, amongst them many private equity firms and their portfolio companies on M&A and capital market transactions. Gunter holds a master degree in Business Administration and Economics from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration.

Ian SOSSO, Executive Board Member

Ian is the founder and managing partner of Monte Carlo Capital, a firm that invests itspartners own capital in early stage companies in Europe, Asia and North America, with afocus on tech/web as well as pharmaceutical/biotech/med tech companies. As an active angel investor, Ian and his partners filter through close to 1000 investment opportunities every year, carry out due diligence on a selection of those and invest in the top handful of them. Ian is regularly the lead investor in the investment round, often joining the board or the advisory board. In Asia, Monte Carlo Capital has a presence in Hong Kong where it actsas an accelerator and, in addition to providing funding, partners with companies to helpthem set up, distribute and/or manufacture in Asia.

Monte Carlo Capital is supported by a range of advisors with extensive experience acrosssectors and geographies who assist in deal sourcing as well as due diligence and business acceleration.

Before founding Monte Carlo Capital, Ian was, until 2009, the regional managing directorand head of capital markets in Asia for Commerzbank where he was managing all capitalmarkets activities in Asia, including equity derivatives, credit, precious metals, foreignexchange, debt capital markets, as well as the treasuries of HK, Singapore and Shanghai.

Ian started his career in 1993 and previously worked in Paris, London, Tokyo, Singapore and Hong Kong with HSBC, UBS and JPMorgan.

Ian currently lectures venture capital to MBA and masters in finance students of theInternational University of Monaco.

Ian is a Monegasque and holds a MSc in Finance from the London School of Economics(LSE).
